MANTAS INVITATIONAL 2018
Coaches meeting
This will be held at the swimming pool on SATURDAY, 16TH JUNE at 08:15. The Head Coach will be present to confirm meet conditions and answer and queries.
Facilities
The meet will be held in the 50 Metre pool and there will be a TRAINING POOL IN USE FOR WARM UP AND DOWN AFTER EVENTS. Signs will be erected to guide swimmers to the pool. Swimmers must be accompanied by a coach and must be responsible for REPORTING TO THE marshalling AREA in time for races. Parents will not be permitted in the swimmers and coaches area and all coaches will be provided with a coaches pass for entry.
Bad weather
The HONG KONG SPORTS INSTITUTE POOL IS INDOOR AND SO THE MEET WILL CONTINUE IN THE EVENT OF BAD WEATHER. IF THERE IS A BLACK RAINSTORM, OR TYPHOON 8 OR ABOVE WARNING THEN THE MEET WILL NOT BE ABLE TO CONTINUE.
Security
PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE VALUABLES AROUND AT THE MEET, EVERYONE IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR OWN PROPERTY. THE MANTAS SWIMMING CLUB DOES NOT ACCEPT ANY RESPONSIBILITY FOR LOST OR DAMAGED PERSONAL PROPERTY.
Food and beverage
Breakfast and lunch will be available for purchase at the Sports Institute cafeteria. Drinks and snacks will be available for purchase at the pool. There will be water dispensers at the poolside and in the spectator stands so please bring a reusable water bottle. There will be no bottled water for sale.
medals & prizes
It is the responsibility of the coaches and swimmers to collect all medals from our medal table.
Medals will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, & 3rd places. ribbons will be awarded to 4th - 8th place & overall 1st in heat.

DOUBLE POINTS FOR RELAY "A" TEAM.
TEAM TROPHIES WILL BE AWARDED FOR 1ST, 2ND, AND 3RD PLACED TEAMS.
HIGH POINT TROPHIES WILL BE AWARDED FOR 1ST, 2ND, AND 3RD HIGHEST INDIVIDUAL SCORE IN EACH AGE GROUP, BOY AND GIRL.
THERE WILL BE TROPHIES FOR ANY RECORDS BROKEN.
ALL THE ABOVE TROPHIES WILL BE AWARDED AT THE AWARDS DINNER. IF YOU ARE NOT ATTENDING THE AWARDS DINNER AND THINK YOU HAVE WON A TROPHY PLEASE LET US KNOW.
